ASL ❤️ Presents: Hearing Pox
A pox on you! A pox for everyone at ASL Love's first event! See Deaf artists producing visual, auditory, and physical spectacles, ranging from visual arts, performances, mind-bending games, and music/movement.
Hear and feel several Deaf and hearing DJs playing electronic music, a dance floor, a haunted house, and LED and fire flow arts.
Drink beer, zombie brews, and nonalcoholic drinks at a cash bar. Your ticket gives you two free drinks. Light refreshments will be available if your POX is leaving you a mite peckish.
Please wear costumes! There's a prize waiting for the person who wears the best costume to fit the theme of HEARING POX!
This is a 21+ event. Money from ticket sales goes DIRECTLY to hosting the event, and funding each party's artists and their overactive imaginations! Limited tickets available, when they run out they run out! We're selling fast.
WHERE
Event address will be sent to all those that purchase tickets. But I can tell you it will at a large private residence in the Mission District in San Francisco! No entry without a valid ticket; we may have limited tickets available at the door.
Venue is not wheelchair accessible.
WHEN
Saturday, October 27, 2018 from Sundown (8pm) to the wee hours in the morning.
HOW?!
When you purchase tickets, your money goes directly to fund the construction of the art during the event, as well as future events. We have BIG plans for you!
WHAT IS ASL ❤️?
ASL Love is a collective and a movement started by Deaf folk, to reclaim and celebrate music and movement through our sign language, ASL. Each ASL Love event will support artists in creating their vision; then we all celebrate and party together inside and around their art!
WHY ASL ❤️
Do we need a reason to have fun during Halloween season? No, really... YOU are the reason we are hosting this event, WE are the reason. We are excited to have you join us to create spaces where art can grow and thrive, and what better way than to bring our talents to the table and share amazing moments together.
